Cool. Shows it's a special run of the Reserve line with a traditional cherry wood finish. I assume the "wood" means it's real wood veneer.

Dang. I could really (really) use a pair in cherry for the TV
Maybe I'll have to spring for a pair of R100s.
Contact paper is OK by me -- although real veneer would be nice.
BTW, where are y'all seein' this. I looked at the main page moments ago, and I see this...
No mention of 50th anniversary speakers anywhere on the main page, and looking at R100 shows only the traditional 'color' options.

Well ****, I thought the 50th Anniversary release might relate to an updated 'Vintage ' Monitor 5/7/10 model, being as they brought back a new SDA model in the L800.
Several companies have cashed in on a revamped Classic from their past, was hoping a new Monitor from Polk Audio's past might make an introduction. -
