Would be cool for a half day
First hour of total silence would be a dream state especially if you’re married🤓

Curious though, if you can here your heart and stomach,,,
Will you hear your phart? Or just the internal combustion pre-expulsion

Polk had one of these anechoic chambers, aka, the cheese room in Baltimore HQ...

    Definitely deafening quiet

Being in the cheese room was eerie.

I wonder if anechoic chambers are better -- or worse -- when one has tinnitus?

I got to go into Harman’s anechoic chamber during my time there. Not for long, but it doesn’t take long to feel weird, generally under a minute.

What was more interesting to me was the polar opposite, the room where they stress test the stadium pro speakers. You put on ear protection before going through two large doors in a solid concrete room. Full blast continuous note playing. It’s physically stressful on your body to a small extent. The feeling stayed with my stomach for a couple minutes. Somewhat like the after feeling of a roller coaster.

I believe that particular room used to hold the world record for quietest room in the world at -9.4db, Microsoft beat it at -20.6db.
