Bruce stopped by last night on his way to visit his daughter on the East coast, he got in later than expected, so his visit was shorter than we thought, but was nice to see him again.

We chatted, had a beer and listened to some music. Pleasant evening to say the least, Bruce stop back by anytime.
Dodd - Battery Preamp
Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B

Couldn't you keep him a little longer, he's due here tomorrow morning....J/K. I'm looking forward to his visit again, but I've got re-enforcements this time in the form of Crazy Doro. :D

I'm guessing that's where that chair's pattern comes into play. :D

That's the end result of no effn sleep....or next to none anyway. What, you don't like the fabric? Well, it's not my favorite either, do you see the small patch of the new material behind my head. I'm thinking that if I water the patch it will spread out and recover the entire chair one day. ;)

It was good to see Tour again, even though he snuck that damn Michael Jackson CD on again after I swore I wouldn't let him do it this time..lol. He does look very confused in the pic, doesn't he!?! I know that remote isn't that hard to figure out....lol.

Anyway, Tour, Doro and I feasted on the world famous Sunshine Burgers, listened to the tunes, chatted a bit and had some fun. Btw, the chair he's in is not the normal chair that lives in that spot, but it is a better chair for critical listening.

I've met some of the nicest people though this forum and I'd like to thank Polk for making all this happen. Tour is welcome here any time and Doro.......well, he just keeps showing up..what can I say.

Russman - He mentioned that he finally decided to remove the tumor he has been growing that looks like Matt Polk...remember the one he told us about...and when we stopped talking to him in Texas? :)

Yea, he has lost some weight, and he's hard to keep track of, because he's alot faster now too. He's like Michael McDonald playing John Ramsey, Jon Benet's father in those Mad TV sketches....Bruce is always showing up beside you, out of nowhere....very wierd.

The chair's fine, it just gave me a flashback to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I imagine under the right conditions it could really come alive. :D

How old's the house? From the little that's shown it looks like there's quite a bit of character.

Actually the picture of Jesse was taken while the Michael Jackson was spinin'... :)

Have only been to the site a couple times in the past few months, and then "just looking". New look, new names, but same core group holding the proverbial fort I see.

Pics and notes reflect a near month-long trek back in June (do I have a great wife or what?). From the first stop at hoosiers to the last at Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN (The Raven and The Legend.... two world class wooden coasters ), it was quite a trip.

Also visited Mom, my daughter (and her new fiance), and two old college buds. Picked up three pairs of speakers: AR3a's, Original Large Advents (damn near perfect walnut cab's) and, at long last, the EPI 200's F1 was holding for me.

    hoosier, F1, doro, Doc,
Not sure I really thanked you enough for the hospitality you all showed when I was on "tour". Thank you...
Enjoyed the time and the demo's at one and all's, from hoosier's CRS's and Music Hall to Doc's Pb2-Ultra and all the Maryland gear in between.

    Russ,
Yup, trimmed down on a semi-Adkins thing. Can't seem to bust through the 210 barrier though. Guess I might have to resort to exercise.
    More later,
    Tour...

Goddamn, Bruce - welcome back. It's great to see you here again and I was more than happy to open my home as part of the great "tour". Hope you enjoyed your stay as much as we enjoyed having you.

    Warmest Regards,

    Ed

    PS - I can't break through 210 either, AND I exercise too. :p

Yeah, but you're easily 3" taller than me... :)

Oh, and by no means did I mean to slight the Seabreeze Jackrabbit... But it is tame compared to The Raven and The Legend is like The Raven on steroids... Total rides over an evening and a full-day was in the 60's... Wheeeeeeeeee....

I still smile over that 13 Hz full body massage the organ download delivers via the SVS...
    More later,
