Optimum Digital Cable Length

I remember reading somewhere about a digital cable should be at least a certain length. Something about if they are too short there is some negative impact. I don't mean too short to make the connection. Could someone explain this further? My interest is in a USB cable between a laptop and DAC. I think mine is 1.6m, but I could go much shorter.

It's only for 75ohm digital coaxial cables, 1.5m.
USB isn't affected by this. -
Thanks Drew. It was actually your comment in a digital coax thread that reminded me about digital cable lengths.

Confirmed. Length matters.
