Polk Monitor T8 question

Hello, can anyone tell me the difference between a Polk Monitor T8 and a Polk Monitor T8 that has been THX certified? Are the drivers the same? Would they both sound the same for simple two channel stereo listening? Customer service had no idea.

This was bothering me so much that I contacted the previous owner (who has since moved) (And might be taking a restraining order out against me) and they stated that they placed a transparent sticker from some other set of speakers on there because they used them as rear speakers in a surround sound system and that they are RTA 8T s. Thank you for your help .I'm sorry to bother everyone.

No bother, glad you found out the proper model.
As I previously stated, the THX label on any piece of gear requires a paid licensing fee. Any piece of gear carrying the label is supposed to meet certain specs, but don't hold your breath on that one.Political Correctness'.........defined

Aaaaa, the RTA-8T makes more sense. I think some early ones were labeled Monitor 8T. I was wondering if I missed something with the T8 and THX labeling.Stan
