I have been reading this board for almost a month. I purchased RM 6600 package (w/ 350 sub) along with Onkyo 696 this month. I finally got the system hooked up and it sounds good. BTW, I'm totally new to this 'new' tech stuff. My last system was a Laffette (1974) and it finally died.
I would appreciate any recommendations for front speaker stands. Thanks !!

Onkyo 696 receiver, Panasonic DVD RV31U,Polk RM6600 w/ 350 sub (rti28's 2nd zone), JVC Dual tape deck, MMF-2.1 Turntable, JVC 5010 CD R. ((its simple, its cheap, it works))

PartsExpress has the same speaker stands that Polk sells, ($65.) for $30. a pair which is a very good price.
