Reading the headline and then the story about his absence from the show for 2 years was a little shocking to me.

Being a collector myself, :D, I used to watch the show all the time, stopped for a year I guess, and then went back to watching for a year, and then the past 2 years have been off and on.

There have been many episodes where I thought, these guy's collections are worth a million or the one beach bum's multi-million dollar super-car collection including all those #1, special ordered the way he wanted, and the colors and options to be one-offs made me feel like I just had a closet full and only a $ of stereo stuff. :D

Any episodes that stand out to you guys and gal?

I missed Frank on the show.

Mike goes out with Jersey now and a lot of episodes with Mike's brother. Robbie on the road with Danielle.
Still a good show but The Bearded Wonder help to make that show what it is.

Sorry to hear, one of my favorite shows. It never gets old even though the final taping is staged, I still enjoy it. I enjoy Robbie and Danielle too.

Last I heard about 2 years ago Frank had back surgery and took a leave of absence to recover. This coincided with the renewal of the show/contracts etc. I had read that the network declined to re-up Franks contract, not sure of the details. That's the short version of the story anyway. It was also reported he was taking time off to loose some weight and take care of his health at around the same time.

I read it on the internets awhile back.

Hope he makes a full recovery.

Frank and Mike also had a major falling out over it. I may very well be wrong, but my understanding is that Frank was pissed that Mike would do the show without him and they have barely spoken since…

I hope Frank has a full recovery and he and Mike can get back to being friends.

Maybe Frank was getting more "fan mail" than the rest. Maybe... ;)
