I've been sick for a few years, and my brother occasionally says stuff like, "Hey, sick boy," to call my attention. Yes, he is joking, but no, it doesn't change the thought process that begins after he's said it - its like "head-ups, your sick - everybody sees you differently". Nobody likes to feel as if there's something wrong with him - or in this case, their religion is something to joke about, because in fact, they might take it very seriously. Likewise, nobody jokes about September 11 (the actual event) because it is a serious matter that just isn't appropriate to joke about. So my advise would be to be more careful in the future, knowing that you didn't mean it offensively, but it could be taken that way - I don't mean to attack you, just inform you. (I know this could appear as attack - it really isn't though - some things are hard to convey in print.) But this phrase really isn't appropriate - no matter how it is used.

I know you are just trying to move your equipment, sorry I am out of dough at the moment or might get those Boston's.

I believe I will just hang on to the Marantz Receiver, it is to nice a receiver to dump for 400 bones, and makes a really nice pre, which would be hard to replace for that amount. I'll relist the Boston's in another thread, as this one seems to have gotten derailed on the first page.
