Do I need an amp/volume control

Hey I bought 10 MC80s to install through out my house. My plan is to have 5 zones of 2. Each with independent volume control knobs on the wall, fed back to a channel selector into a receiver. Do I need any other components? An amp?

I would recommend using Niles in-wall level controls, they use a transformer to create the level adjustments and won't load down your receiver/amplifier. And yes, a separate power amplifier would be best.
