Polk PSW505 Subwoofer Amp Died

Just wanted to create another post on this board to add to the list of dead PSW505 amplifiers. Purchased 11/2016. Died 01/2022. 5 years warranty? Sounds like Polk knows they created garbage.
Tried contacting customer support and was told $180+tax+shipping for a new amp which is pretty close to what I paid for this brand new in 2016.
Any magic words I have to say to Polk for a replacement amp or should I just feed this to my local waste management provider?

There is not a single Polk sub worth buying or fixing. HSU or SVS have very nice subs for very reasonable prices
