Just picked up a Yamaha mc-5 with half the original cataleaver and other half is sapphire
With a line contact stylus. Got it for $250 it sounds amazing. Guy on ebay sells a bunch of rebuilt carts.

Nice tight clean bass and mids , hights are very detailed but no fatigue ,great soundstage and depth. -
Sounds almost as good as my karet 17d
At the fraction of the cost. Very happy with this purchase. -
The telescoping burriliam broke and was replaced with sapphire.
