These are from early Monitor 4s with the Peerless tweeters. They were completely rebuilt by westmassguy with premium Sonicaps, Mills resistors, and new binding posts but were too large to fit in the cabinets. They have never been used. They should work with Monitor 10s up to Rev 2, and RTA-11t non-tl model. I do not have the technical expertise to answer many questions but I do have the email thread between me and westmassguy where he describes the upgrade in detail. The upgrade cost $450. I'm asking $300 shipping included.

Do you mean these will not fit in Monitor 4 cabinets ?
-
Correct

They should fit the binding post plate hole without issue, so why do you say they won't fit?Political Correctness'.........defined

Too tall maybe?

Sorry guys, I should have been more clear. Yes they are too tall. Crossovers are 5 inches tall and the Monitor 4 cabinets are only 7 inches deep so they hit the magnet of the woofer. It was a mistake on my part to not provide westmassguy with dimensions.
I believe they are the same schematically as the Monitor 10 and the RTA-11t. As long as there is enough clearance they would be a nice fit for those speakers. -
You could remove the very top cap, remote mount it and use longer leads to connect to the board. It's a common practice. If it's not something you are comfortable doing there might be someone close to you that can help. Just say where you are close to.Political Correctness'.........defined

To be honest, I no longer have the time or inclination for the project. I would rather they go to someone who could use them and appreciate them..

I still have all the other components (Monitor 4 cabinets, MW6500s, and Peerless tweeters) in good condition.
If someone was interested in a package deal, I could ship everything for $350. -
Interesting. My monitor 4’s with peerless only had one cap which I swapped for Clarity CSA. They sound great! I know monitor 10’s with peerless take two 12uF and one 34uF. Seems like something is amiss here…
My monitor 4 “crossovers” which cleared the back of the driver no problem:
Current Collection: Monitor 4a (Peerless), Monitor 5B (Peerless), Modified Monitor 7b (Peerless), RTA15TL (SL3000), SDA CRS+ (194’s), SDA SRS 2.3TL, R100's, R200’s, R300 🤩 -

It seems that some of the very early Monitor 4s used a crossover design essentially identical to Monitor 10s. -
@kevinko - crazy. Lots o components for two drivers!
Good luck with your sale. Those are some nice crossovers!Current Collection: Monitor 4a (Peerless), Monitor 5B (Peerless), Modified Monitor 7b (Peerless), RTA15TL (SL3000), SDA CRS+ (194’s), SDA SRS 2.3TL, R100's, R200’s, R300 🤩
