Once in a lifetime meteor event Tonight

Monday night will be an opportunity to witness a brand new meteor shower that has never been seen before.

Sam Storch is a retired planetarium astronomer and also a current member of the Astronomical Society of the Palm Beaches in Florida. Storch said the tau Herculids meteor shower will be a once-in-a-lifetime event.

Night sky watchers in North America have the best chance of seeing the tau Herculid shower, with NASA recommending around 1 a.m. on the East Coast or 10 p.m. on the West Coast as the best times to look up. The moon is new, so there will be no moonlight to obscure the meteors.

I'm hoping you don't mean once in a lifetime event because it is a plant killer event. We've had enough stressful stuff this week.

I went out at 1am and didn't see one in 20+ minutes. I came back in for a while. I'm going back out now.

    Nothing.

    Bummer. :(

Was just outside for about 10 minutes and didn't see any meteors, but there are plenty of stars. I will check again before going to bed.

Only on an audio forum can a meteor thread turn into a cable thread.

Happened to be awake at ca.1:25 AM EDT, so I looked out front and out back (sky was clear enough to see stars). Saw zero of the shooting kind. :/
Apropos of nothing: I did see one at about midnight last Friday night (Saturday morning) and a bright & persistent one driving home from Mrs. H's reunion in western MA at about 9 PM Saturday night.

I crashed early last night from a weekend of hard labor in the yard. I did wake up around 1:30 to go to the bathroom and looked out the window and...clouds.

    Such is my life.

All kidding aside, I'll be trying out Supra Rondo wire next, on your recommendation.😉

Great for internal wiring due to its neutral nature and tinplating for long life.

As a speaker wire for a system, would just depend on the system synergy.

For internal wiring, neutrality should be the goal, imo
