Years ago I purchased a head unit and 4 channel amp from Crutchfield and installed in my Mach1.
A few weeks ago I ordered a second set of four channel RCAs from Crutchfield to replace the first set that have been intermittent for some time.
Installed the new set only to find that two of the channels were bad. Just touching the cable caused an intermittent signal. I had to use a zip tie to hold the cable in place to get three channels to work with the remaining channel dead.
I started researching cheap cables at such a these and found that most all of them have reports of being DOA.
So I ordered Amphenol connectors and Mogami cable a made my own. Installed them a no problems.
I told Crutchfield that if they raised their bar that stopped selling junk we would not need to use their return policy.
