Well didn't hear any difference. The cabinet build is the only good thing about the 35i speakers to my ears. Tri lam tweeters! WHAT! Maybe too much mass Made cheap xover Danny CR says cheeeesy parts . Polk claimed they are THE SPEAKER SPECIALISTS I say shamefull these drivers don't deserve more appropriate higher end xover components But I tried an upgrade the made little or no difference to me I conclude the drivers are subpar and just not worth listening to. I made home made off the cuff designs that sound better to me All this analysis iof quality is subjective so stick it where the sun dont sun if you are offended. PLEASE give me input to make these better before they go to neighbors next yard sale $35? Might keep because the cabinets are really nice heavy and front and back prter with total front waveguide give me some input good or bad! Michael marmarasmichael@gmail.com
