Greek musician Vangelis composer of film music for Chariots of Fire and Blade Runner has passed away.

I watched Blade Runner (Final Cut version) in 4K with 7.2.2 surround sound last night in honor of him. Great soundtrack.

I like the album where he teamed up with Jon Anderson of Yes, "The Friends of Mr. Cairo". A great homage to American film noir.

"Jon and Vangelis" -- that was first-to-mind for me when I read that he'd died.

Well, my Audio Fidelity, Blade Runner, translucent red vinyl LP just went up in value. Vangelis was an extraordinary composer. Thanks for the music. RIP
