SDA-2a Speaker Grill Treelock or Peg needed

Options
I am repairing a set from 1985.

I had built a slide-hammer to non-destructively remove the treelocks or speaker pegs.
The cabinet hole checks .450”
The ball diameter is .426”

I would be happy to buy one from a fellow member?

The slide-hammer worked quite well. The last peg was always broken...

Please help,
Baker in St Peters, MO

They have 7/16" ones on ebay. That slide hammer is really slick.

    Hey Gardenstater, thanks a bunch!

Just bought them. Will let you know how it works out. Thought I might have to turn some...

Slide-hammer was slick, thanks for the compliment.

I considered building a jig to drill from inside the cabinet, and knock them out with a punch. Glad I built the hammer!

After I’m done, I would be pleased to share the tool with members.

    Thanks Pitdogg2,

I looked at Parts Express. The ones they currently carry are a little small.

I initially tried to get under the flange of those treelocks with a pair of putty knives. It was clearly not going to happen...

That slide would've come in handy a few times. Nice V-block too. Get everything from PE you need at once, shipping just went up.

    Good eye on that V-Block...

    Yes, two tenths...

Parts Express has them too but they have to be different and call them grill guides instead of grille pegs lol
