Hook up a psw10 using speaker wire

Hi i need to know if i doing this right, i hook up my 2 psw10 subwoofers, since my amplifier doesn't have RCA output, I'm using the speakers outputs to the subs, one sub it's connected to the front channel and the other one to the surround channel, it's this ok or can I only use only the front channel for both subs? Any advice will help thank you.

In very general terms the surround channels don't contain very much low frequency information for the subwoofer to produce. But, you should try both connections and pick the one you like best.

What receiver and amp are you using, and how many channels? Typically you would just connect those to your mains, i.e. the right and left front channels, run them full range, and then use the receiver’s crossover for the other channels…

It might help to know what amplifier/AVR your using since pretty much all multichannel receivers made in the past decade have a subwoofer output.
