Dream Bands

I used to work shifts when I was in the Air Force and a friend of mine and I would try to come up with imaginary groups of musicians.
I would like to group Albert Collins on guitar, Bootsy Collins on bass, Judy Collins vocalist and Phil Collins on drums.

    That's so cool.

I never could follow each musician of a group when they changed or even who their names were.

I worked my life away most of my life. I didn't buy albums with all the reading texts that came with them.

I got into music when I was about 21 again. Columbia House mail in. The hits were coming in every week it seemed. So, I did buy a lot of albums and enjoyed them until the next album/s arrived.

Then I worked A LOT. Bought a house and started to remodel after work and weekends.

5 years later maybe, listening to the radio a lot, I hear the DJs talking about who played for what band when.

I then knew I MISSED a lot of the behind the scenes of how some bands transformed.

I started to find out with A/C D/C front man change. And Van Halen front man change. And then there are all the others I know very little about. :#
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

    I'd say Margo, Michael & Peter Timmins -- but they're real. :#

As an aside, Margo could record herself reading the Toronto phonebook... and I'd buy the box set & listen. B)
