There are some that belittle the latest design because it's not the true, one cone does it all flavor "F", or "A" version.
Listen to a modern one first... Then let's hear opinions!
They like to be by a wall, a foot or so. 6'- 8' apart. Keep them around 3-4" from sidewalls.
I have a pair of the Walsh 2 speakers. Bone original. Still sound great! (look a little shabby, though!)
No foam to go bad! -
I do have a pair of Ohm Walsh 2s (of unknown vintage) myself, as it happens.

News Flash:
Current-production ESS 1D Revival speakers on sale for Memorial Day Weekend at $2500. I think--but have not confirmed (e-mail to ESS sent, but not replied to yet...) that these are essentially identical to the ESS Limited Edition previously listed and "sold out".
"From today through Tuesday, May 30th at midnight PST ONLY, our US customers will receive free shipping. For customers outside the US, contact us at info@esslabsusa.com for a shipping quote."
