I wish they would remaster to SACD. Over the years Rush has bounced around various hirez formats from DVD-A, Blu-ray and another just for the snakes and arrows CD and only one Hemispheres was SACD.

Thats rather cool. I would like to add it to the collection but not sure I can pull the trigger now. I recently shelled out a good amount for the Permanent Waves MOFI LP. I picked up a sealed copy.

What's the main difference between Blu-Ray 5.1 and SACD? I've just started collecting SACD's and currently only have Pink Floyd and Eagles.

I found this for you... :o

I do not listen to 5.1 anymore. I've found that 2 channel stereo if done properly gives you a huge soundstage and I do not want sound coming from all angles at the back of my head.
Yes I've bought those releases you linked, mine were the DVD-audio instead of Blu-ray. The main BIG difference is for SACD you do not need a monitor to toggle through to the 2.0 stereo track. Blu-ray and DVD-A you need a monitor to select the proper 2 channel tracks. I've just hit play without a monitor and the down converted to 2 channel is a mess to listen to if you DO NOT pick the 2 channel stereo tracks and allow the players default multi-channel tracks to be pushed into your 2 channel system.

I saw Rush around 6 times. The last being out of the blue as a friend gifted me a Clockwork Angels ticket the night before the show and needed someone to go with. That was awesome but my favorite was at the Allentown,PA Fairgrounds. I was in around the 10nth row(general admission) right in front of Geddy. They play a bunch of great songs and then Geddy announces that they are going to play their new album in it's entirety.... Hemispheres. Goosebump show. Pat Travers Band opened
