Ruined my speakers trying to identify.

I thought the screen was just stubborn. Turns out it doesn't come off! LOL. These will end up in the trash now. But can anyone help identify just out of curiosity? Bought in the 90s. Dimensions are 19hx10wx12d

Give us a hint, show the back of the speaker....

The components might be labeled.
Take the back off. Show what's in there too. That woofer looks good. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
Are these built in from the rear?
I see some holes around the woofer, but no others on that front baffle.
If they're worth it to you, you could probably just buy some grill cloth and use some spray adhesive to tack it back down, paying attention to the edges. Then trim it with a sharp X-acto or utility knife once cured. Might need some chem or sanding to smooth the existing surface, first.
Be sure to shield the drivers and speaker body when spraying the adhesive if you're unable to remove everything from behind. Might be a roll-on adhesive variant you could use, as well.
Lesson I learned the hard way long ago working on cars - if something's not coming apart, there's usually a hidden fastener. Still have to remind myself of that one sometimes.I disabled signatures. -
Hardly for the trash. Looks like a project now
-
@SuburbanDad -- you didn't ruin them in any way but cosmetically, so it could be (far, far) worse!
They look very plain (to the point of being generic/store brand or DIYs), but the drivers don't look hypercheap, and someone went to the trouble to rout or otherwise carve out a "waveguide" around the tweeter dome.
Given that the back is screwed on -- were they mine, I'd try (!) to take the back off and get a look at the drivers and see what the crossover is like. Maybe just a capacitor on the tweeter, but maybe a little more serious. Well worth finding out.
Of course, based on the project so far, the backs will probably turned out to be glued and screwed.
Keep us posted if you do successfully get a look inside 'em!

PS The drivers probably aren't US made and/or old enough to have EIA manufacturer's codes stamped on their baskets, but if they do, an EIA code directory could be very helpful.
Here's a pretty comprehensive one: https://www.ecianow.org/assets/docs/EIAStandards/1.7.4_EIAcodes1961.pdf
and here's a very comprehensive compilation:

The backs ARE screwed and glued. Really the only reason I started messing with these was to try and determine which speakers they were and then put them up on craigslist! Now I will put them on the curb and post a curb alert or they will get picked up on bulk trash day. I know, I hate throwing away stuff, but I simply don't use them.

Close but no cigar. Paradigm Atoms. I think I've seen some with binders like that on cabinets like Paradigms - someone must have changed the binders over...

Holy cow Randy, I think you're right. Having lost the badges awhile ago, the P-name I thought was POLK. But I believe they are Paradigm Phantom V1s! -
If you're going to trash them or curbside them, where do you live? What City that is.
Maybe somebody would love to pick those up for free and bust those speakers and crossover out and put them into other cabinets.
Paradigm speakers is my guess also.
How do they sound?

Paradigm Phantom V1. A pair is on Ebay for $150 and another for $250...

An option if they won't unscrew from the back is to cut them open and retrieve the drivers. Someone may want them. -

Gasket & Age = Pry Bar
Definitely possible (i.e., BTDT)!
usually start out a little more subtly ... a dental pick or small, flat-blade screwdriver, FWIW.
Well done gentlemen, in terms of the ID! Probably a pretty decent sounding pair of loudspeakers.
