First things first...I know I don't have 100 posts, but since I'm trying to give these away for free, hoping that can be overlooked. If not, feel free to delete this post. Just trying to do the earth a solid and get these into the hands of someone that can enjoy them, instead of the landfill.
I have two RT3000p bases in rosewood that are free to a good home. Good condition overall, but last time I tried them at least one had the amp issue that I think is pretty well documented for these speakers. When I checked a number of years ago there was a guy in Chicago that could fix them for a fee. I'm now in a house where I have no place for tower speakers, so haven't looked into it further.
The catch here is you need to pick these up in Minneapolis. I won't ship. And again, these are the bases only; the sats are NOT included. Most of the old RT series bookshelf speakers would work fine as sats.
I used to read this forum daily 15+ years ago when I was building out my theater. This was the first place I thought of to donate these, but will take them to Craigslist if needed.
Respond with any interest, I'll check in occasionally.
