Emotiva Airmotiv Speakers vs. Polk Speakers
Has anyone compared the Emotiva Airmotiv tower speakers (T1, T2) with any of Polk towers?
I was thinking of the Polk ES60 but also read super positive reviews about the Arimotiv T2+ Which cost about the same, but I won’t be able to audition them due to no free shipping/return outside the US.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have 350W Emotiva mono block power amps so power or impedance is not an issue. -
Both companies have a generous in home trial period. If you can swing it bring them both home & let your ears decide. It's a little bit of a hassle but well worth it.

It’s relevant only if you’re in the US, I’m not so it makes it irrelevant unfortunately. You just never heard a good metal dome- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

It's all in the implementation. Can't judge a speaker simply by the tweeter's dome material.

There are plenty of reviews on Youtube of the Airmotiv speakers. I'd start there to get a general idea of what their sound signature is like. The folded ribbon tweeter will sound and perform very different to Polk speakers with soft domes. Only you can figure out what your priorities are for sound, if you'd want a whole home theater system made up of Airmotiv speakers or just a pair to focus on two channel music, the source gear you'd be using with speakers, and the room/space you'd intend to use them in. I suspect far more speakers are sold these days without an in person audition than with, especially in this price range. Another option is to first buy a pair of the bookshelf speakers to get an idea of how the speaker line sounds. Less investment of money that way.
