Audio Note DAC kits

Does anyone have any experience with Audio Note Kits? I have been looking at the 1.1 and 2.1 DAC kits but can't find many reviews. I'm running a benchmark DAC2 HGC with a Aurender N100h currently. I have been thinking about trying something completely different DAC wise for some time. I've been looking at MHDT, Border Patrol and Lampizator DACs. The Audio Note Kits seem to be a good compromise between quality and cost. Just curious if anyone has any input.

@erniejade and I thought the BorderPatrol sounded good.

@Clipdat
I followed the linked thread as it was happening and it's one of the reasons I added the BorderPatrol to my list. Thanks again for the good write up.Rega Planar 8, Apheta 3 MC , Aria mk2 Phono
