Up for your consideration is a lightly used memory player/transport.
I purchased this CD/DVD player from The Music Room in the summer of 2017. It worked great for the 1st yr but then the display started failing/flickering. I called PSA, got an RNA and had it back in my rig in about 2 week . . . Great CS from PSA.
I just confirmed with PSA that a new display had been installed. Nope!
They replaced the power supply to fix the issue.
It performed perfectly for another year until I picked up a Lumin streamer. I've succumbed to the convenience of "the stream"
It belongs in a good home, as it's been sitting idle ever since 2019
This PWT is well built and a tank, weighing in at 25 lbs.
Comes in original packing boxes, manual and remote.
Near perfect condition with one very small mark on the side panel. The top is still covered with the original protective sheet of plastic. Pics will be posted tomorrow when I can get some decent light in here.
$1200 net to me
Shipping from 48098 can be negotiated, but would rather not. Pick up or meet 1/2 way is an option, too.
For those not familiar with the PWT, here is an excerpt from the link below:
https://hometheaterhifi.com/reviews/audio-player/cd-transports/ps-audio-perfectwave-disc-transport/
"The PWT is unique among transports in that it is a memory player designed to read both redbook CDs and DVDs encoded with high-resolution audio. In some respects, it takes the place of a computer, yet is devoid of computer parts.
The PWT first reads everything on the optical disc you insert into its drive, then transfers it to an internal PS Audio Digital Lens with 64mB memory. The unit then outputs a digital signal from the Digital Lens’ memory. PS Audio claims that this unique arrangement circumvents many of the errors and most of jitter introduced by conventionally designed transports. It also purportedly elevates playback to the level achieved by a computer hard drive, and manages to do so without introducing computer-related noise."
Thanks for looking!

For the last year or so, Lampizator Amber 3. Prior to that, North Star Design Supremo. Both are excellent DACs
