    Unless you want to use the tuner in a receiver get a nice integrated amp instead.

    If you mean "will they work with any modern receiver/amp", the answer is absolutely. I have been driving similar speakers for decades with Yamaha AVRs (see sig). Enjoy!

  • I was thinking I'd have to upgrade receivers but I'm quite pleased with the sound I have now. If only the car stereo I just paid too much for sounded like this. But that's a subject for a different forum.

    I'm iterested to hear more about the car stereo. Maybe you can start a new thread in the car audio forum. I have an install I've been putting off pending further lesrning/decisions in the rest of the system. So far I only have the head unit.
