At your last polk convention, which SDA model speakers did you guys compare?
Has anyone heard a direct comparison between the SDA 2.3 and the SDA 1C ?

    I wasn't there, but....

If it were me and I had that choice I'd take the 1C's over the 2.3's, however I'd take the 2.3TL's over the 1C's. IMO, the 2.3's were not a good speaker.

    F1nut-

So is it the because the 2.3's had the driver limiters on two of the midrange? or were the tweeters different? I didn't think there was that much difference.

Yes, the doughnuts are part of the reason. The 2.3 and the 2.3TL are worlds apart. The 2.3TL has better drivers, better tweeters, better crossovers and better cabinet construction.

    ....to favor the SDA SRS2.
Was that the favorite of most people attending?

It was the shootout winner. Trolled really deep on some of my bass heavy sample music. Very smooth and enjoyable to listen to. The only downside on these is the low WAF and HT. For serious 2ch music, this is the speaker.
