Back in the 80"s I had a dedicated run from Maine to Florida I did for 2+ years. I saw something like this more then once. Only difference was they had a tarp hiding the vehicle. So it probably was something they didn't want u to see

There was a car like that they had in front of the police traffic division with a warning sign.
They didn't have to go far to find one. Accidents on that roadway were common
and often fatal. The EMS guys were pretty busy and had a lot of horror stories.
They were across the street from the police at that time. One even crashed into the
Fire station. It's a car, not a video game.

That fellow certainly had a guardian angel or 2 riding with him. Lass summer I saw the results of a tractor trailer that had stopped in the high speed lane on a local highway and a young lady hit the truck from behind in her suv going the 65mph speed limit. Sadly she was not as lucky. The fool in the truck for some reason thought his standard sized trailer would not fit under a standard sized bridge on the highway so he completely stopped before the overpass with no flashers or other warning. That lame thinking cost a young lady her life that day.

Once the tow truck lifted the tractor off the car the woman was able to get out of the car herself??? And that, folks, is how Wonder Woman learned to not stop in the middle of a bridge to reach down on the passenger side floorboard to retrieve her lip gloss. News a 11.
