Hello! Can anyone tell me if I indeed have a 5jr speaker and its impedance? I suspect it is 6 ohms but I am unsure and I'm not finding much online about the 5jr. I am however finding information about the 5jt+,
which I suspect I don't have. I have a vintage Kenwood KR 6600 reciever and the specs say it has a speaker load impedance of 4 to 16 ohms. I just want to make sure it is safe to use these speakers with this old receiver. Thanks!

Those sure look like a Monitor 5jr+ version to me. The earlier Monitor 5jr didn't have a passive radiator as far as I know. They had a port like these.
According to this Monitor Series reference manual the M5jr above is a 4 ohm nominal speaker'

That is a 5jr+ since it has a passive radiator.
