Which Lsi for Rear Surrounds?

So i am still rocking my Polk Lsi15s, LsiC and LsiFX in my Home Theater room. Just got a new house and actually have a dedicated home theater room.

For the rear surrounds would i get another pair of the LsiFX or get lsi9? I could put the lsi9s to my side and the FX as rears? Or the other way around ?

ALso a side questions, eventually i want to go atmos but have no idea what speakers would match my Lsi for overhead? Any suggestions on that ?

Thanks guys
Polk LSi 15
Polk LSi/C
Polk LSi/FX
SVS Ultra
SVS PB3000
Monolith 15 THX
Denon 3700h "switching to Onkyo rz50"
Monolith 7 AMP.

Either the LSi9 or LSi7 would do a fine job as rear surrounds. I've used the LSi7s before in that spot. But I've also used four of the LSiFX. Bookshelf speakers are now preferred as surround speakers with the latest Dolby sound tracks too.

So you think keep my lsiFX on the side and do the 9s or the 7s behind me?

Yes. I had an LSi system like that before. The LSiFX to me are the best dedicated surround speakers Polk made.

The Dolby recommendation about having direct radiating speakers as surrounds has to do with systems that integrate a couple pairs of additional Dolby Atmos speakers in the ceiling or as add on modules.

For overhead speakers technically the LC in ceiling series (discontinued) were meant to timbre match to the LSi series but the LS series also will be timbre matched (500-LS, 700-LS and 900-LS).
