Setting Correct Amp Input Sensitivity for Monitor 7 Series Speakers?

Hi,
I'm planning on powering my Monitor 7 Series speakers with a Crown XLi800 amp. The amp has the choice to use either .775V or 1.4V input sensitivity setting. Which should I use? Planning on using RCA inputs on amp. Please advise.

Hello,
Welcome! What is the output capability of your preamp? Are you using the outputs of a receiver or do you use a preamplifier? Most receiver outputs are fairly low so you would use 0.775V (which is referred to as 0dBm). Most preamps produce higher outputs so 1.4V would be best.
