Vanilla SIG bug

I disabled my SIG since Vanilla uses the same size font for the SIG as for the actual post. However, doing that prevents me from being able to see anyone else's SIG. Unfortunately, I just found out last night that my SIG is still visible to others who have SIGs enabled.

That is wrong, and a major Vanilla bug. If a SIG is disabled then it should not be visible to anyone.

Shunyata Sigma XLR analog ICs, Sigma speaker cables
Shunyata Sigma HC (2), Sigma Analog, Sigma Digital, Z Anaconda (3) power cables

Mapleshade Samson V.3 four shelf solid maple rack, Micropoint brass footers
Three 20 amp circuits.

The "Hide Signatures" option just prevents everyone else's signature from showing on your screen, it doesn't delete or hide your own signature from being visible to others.

The only way to hide your sig would be to delete it

Can’t resize sigs. Can’t make them just on your personal page. Can’t do nothing with them.

Unless you are using a different flavor of this site (e.g., on a phone or pad) than am I @BlueFox, this forum/Vanilla doesn't offer a way to disable a signature. One may hide others' signatures and/or images therein, but AFAIK the only way to "disable" one's own signature is to have no text in that field.

I've always hidden them because so many of them are so long or complicated; they just take up space.

Yes, I realize that now. If Vanilla would use a font two sizes smaller than the post text then they would be more acceptable, but the current design just doesn’t work that well, at least to my eyes.
