FS: LSA Statement Amplifier

OK folks, I've finally decided to sell my big LSA Statement Amplifier after enjoying it for the last 6 plus years. This is a big sucker, so unless you want to spend a huge amount for shipping, this is probably best for local pickup in Atlanta Metro Area. Asking $1800 for established forum members. I got it back from repair (power supply regulator) back in March, but I haven't been using that much and I've decided to move on to a more compact class-D setup. I took it back to the repair shop a few weeks ago after experiencing some strange distortion but he tested it and said it was just probably due to micro-phonic tubes. He couldn't get it to misbehave in his listening room, so I got it back home, swapped tubes and haven't been able to re-create the problem at home either.
This was LSA's top tier of three versions of integrated amplifier (Statement>Signature>Standard). These were tweaked from the original Standard by John Tucker (Exemplar Audio) to make the upgraded Signature and Statement amps. This is a dual mono hybrid tube/solid state amplifier. The amp uses a pair of 6922 style tubes and a hugely overbuilt 150wpc (8-ohms) amplifier section. Huge dual transformers, massive external heat sinks. This can drive just about any speaker and is 4-ohm stable with ~300wpc into 4-ohm. This is built like a tank and weighs 78lbs.

I am the original owner, purchased in early 2014 from Underwood Audio. I have the original double box packaging. If no local buyers show up, I may consider shipping, but this weighs around 100lbs packed. Original metal remote and manual included. Very Good condition. Giving it a 7/10 condition grading to be conserviative, but it really looks flawless under normal lighting. It has with one small scuff on the left side of the front display and a couple small scuffs on the top cover. I tried to capture them with the flash on.
The amp comes with original low hour stock (Electro-Harmonix) tubes, which are honestly not very good. An upgrade to the tubes would be recommended. For local buyers, I will also include my shoebox stash of 6922 tubes including a set of old 80's stock Soviet 6N23P-EV, a set of vintage Mullards (slightly noisy), and a set of 12 NOS Japanese Matsushita 6DJ8 tube that are supposed to be based on Mullard design. The Matsushitas are ungraded, but I tested most of them and marked them if I thought they were noisy, or microphonic. At least 4 are really good, a few were noisy, and the rest were inconclusive. However, those were all tested in my old BAT VK-30, which used 6 tubes. You might have different results only using a pair. My favorite tubes were the Soviet tubes, but those are also the ones that started distorting recently. An upgraded power cord is also highly recommended. Here are a few photos.
I can send more if needed.

So, just to clarify, this integrated does not have a preamp output like some of the LSA Amps. It has a fixed out (like tape out), and 4 inputs, one of which is a balanced/xlr. It has a phono stage (MM only) that requires you to use jumpers and loop it back into one of the single ended inputs. I never used the phono stage on this because I have a separate phono stage. So, no matter how you use it, it only has 4 inputs. The CD input on the front panel is the balanced input. The other three are Aux 1, 2, 3. Aux 1 would be phono if you used the jumpers. For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

Dang, that is a beautiful piece. If performance is anything near it's looks, she's got to be exceptional

That’s for sure. Probably needs to be near the floor, so one hopes that the remote can do everything that you need.

Bump! This is still available. For those who have never heard or looked into the LSA Statement, believe me, it is a reference piece, especially with the right tubes. It displaced (and improved the sound quality) of my previous BAT VK30/Parasound Halo A21 setup, and it was not just a small improvement. For most, this would be the last amp they ever needed. Price drop to $1700 for established Polk members. I could meet up within a reasonable distance as well (thinking max 2hr drive each way) if that changes anything. For rig details, see my profile. Troy, no idea...that MF A308, which is not nearly as well built or refined, sold in minutes.
My guess is the cost of shipping something this size is causing pause to most unless they are within a reasonable drive. For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore... -
Very nice end all amp. Trades considered?

I might consider a trade for a good 2-ch pre-amp (must have remote) and some cash. PM me if you have anything you might want to talk about. For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore... -

Since you sold it, now I can say that the MF A308 was half the price you were asking, shipping was offered, and it’s a better known brand: probably the reasons for the quicker sale.
