The Arena-Dragged in by my 8 yr old niece on opening day. I happened to be in Phoenix and knew what was coming. 150 kids
high on gobs of cotton candy, sticky gummy bears/worms and super sized soda. TOTAL SHOCK! Not one kid or a cell phone could be heard thru the whole movie!!

The movie-How the young chap has grown and his acting reflected this.
Most kids were scared, adults fairly entertained in this dark creepy episode.
Good acting, FX done very well, but the plot gets twisted around leaving most younger ones just enjoying the silver screen.
If you enjoy HP or would like to strike a balance in seeing a movie with your kids do see it on the big screen.

These movies may have been overshadowed by the LOTR trilogy, but they are extremely well done. Story, acting, PQ, SQ - everything. I'm very much looking forward to this on DVD.

Being my favorite among the 1st 3 books (if not all HP books) of Harry Potter, I am somewhat dissappointed on how the whole plot was put on the screen for this installment. Reading the book will throw you into different twists and turns. It will make you think who the villain was and will make you question the same judgement a few chapters forward. I guess, movie standards, being usually 2 hours in length did not help here. Anyways, I just did not feel that same ping-pong effect when I was watching the movie.

Also, the ambiance seemed a little bit darker than the 1st 2 episodes. Hogwartz did not feel the same, specially the landscape. Amazing how you can tell the difference between 2 directors from their work.

I strongly recommend reading the book to appreciate this episode (plot wise) even more.

Now, for effects... I agree, the effects were awesome (as usual) :D
