Ford is building a six square mile electric f150 plant about halfway between
Memphis and Jackson TN. The site is in the middle of nowhere.
Closet town has about 500 people in it.
The plant will be cranking out trucks in about 4 years.
I guess we'll see if Ford can build an electric truck that's worthy
of the f150 name. It's a huge risk. Either it's ahead of the the curve
Or Ford is going to go down in flames. I hope they have some good
Ideas. I know the whole electric thing has been beat to death here already.
If they make the batteries easily changeable and break the pack up into
Smaller units so fine part stops working you don't have to trash
The whole thing, it might be more user friendly for maintaining.
Maybe under the bed? Lift off a panel so you can touch everything
Without taking the whole truck apart.
