Cs 1000 center speaker

Trying to figure out if I could hook up the bottom connections to a amp, then to sub out on a processor. Would this work, or would I blow the speaker. I have the top connection going to amp

That's probably not a good idea. It would be best to connect upper and lower binding posts to whatever is providing center channel power. Then, if you want extra bass add a subwoofer.
