Slight buzzing sound

So I’ve never actually tested buzzing from my speakers with no music playing until tonight. With NAD M51 turned all the way up I have to put my ear to the left speaker and I hear an audible bzzz. However at the same time the right speaker has zero bzzz….
I dunno if this has anything at all to do with the quality of sound but I found it odd that the left speaker has this slight bzzz maxed out volume, but the right ch. doesn’t at all.
And this buzzing sound is w/my ear right in front of the speakers. I can not hear it from listening position enjoying music.
Does this mean the left channel on the amp is “going”?

Swap the L and R inputs to your amp and see if the buzz switches channels. If it does, it’s coming further up stream (pre or source). If it stays in the L channel, swap the speaker cables L and R. If the buzz moves to the R channel, it is in fact the amp. If it stays in the L speaker, then it’s something I. The speaker (crossover probably). Obviously make sure everything is powered down when making the cable swaps."Conservative Libertarians love the country, progressive leftists love the government." - Andrew Wilkow

Also make sure you don’t have cables touching each other. You could be picking up RFI/EMI; doesn’t necessarily happen in both channels the same way.CD Players: Sony CDP-211; Sony DVP-S9000ES; Sony UDP-X800M2 (x2); Cambridge Audio CXC
