Should I get a separate Amp?

Hey guys, I just recently built my own home theater. 3 polk Audio 265 RT for my fronts behind a 120” screen, 2 RT 65 as my surround rears and 2 in ceiling. Also running an svs 12” sub. I’m running it with a marantz SR5015 and it sounds really good. The way I’m listening to it with movies I feel I will burn out this av sooner than later. Would it be smart to get a separate amplifier or since it’s in walls that sr5015 should be enough. I’m literally a newbie to this av stuff but I managed to install and ran all the wires correctly. Even calibrated each speaker with an spl meter which makes a huge difference. Any helpful tips would be much appreciated.

No, you don't need an amp. Just make sure that you have plenty of ventilation around the AVR or put a component fan on it. Its plenty powerful for the setup, and even at reference level you shouldn't burn it out UNLESS those speakers are 4 ohm...

Yes I’m using an AC infinity S10 fan placed on top of the av. It’s an 8 ohm and I’m using a 16g CLF speaker wire. My AV rack is placed in a central location with plenty of room for it to breathe. Thank you much for your input.
