Happy belated Bday!!

Thank you, it was a very happy day! Found a new record shop with a good heart, bought a Los Indios Tabajaros record on RCA. My first Waren Zevon record, an unopened Pat Martino record, an unopened Eric Dolphy record, and a Yes album. He had a Mobile Fidelity Herb Alpert record (I didn't even know one existed) and a few Franklin Mint jazz albums I might go back for.

Sounds like a pretty good natal anniversary -- incorporating an appropriately high amount of fidelity.
So... which Zevon did the Birthday Boy choose for his first?
The eponymous one, perhaps? With a photo of him illuminated by a searchlight.
Great rekkid.

@mhardy6647 "So... which Zevon did the Birthday Boy choose for his first"
I found "The Envoy" which is next to be cleaned along with the Pat Martino "Footprints" also a first time record. I've been enjoying a few Elvin Jones records I found. My main record shop is Hub City Vinyl which is in an old car dealership building (Ford, I think). The husband and wife who have beautifully refurbished the building are also very successful dealers in arcade collectables. There is a section devoted to refurbished audio gear some of it very interesting.
I found two bins of Dick Clark transcription discs. I think they were used to send his program to radio stations. I know the BBC transcription discs are supposed to be the best sounding records around. -
^^^ Cool (on all counts)!
The Envoy is a very good song. I am not sure I have the album -- come to think of it.
