I just moved the audio equipment in my room that i hooked up two years ago to my new house. I don't seem to be getting any sound at all. No feedback or sound from the DVD player it's being hooked up to. I can't get any sound from the radio either. I seem to remember there being someway to turn "on' the Rt600 but I can't find a switch or anything. Do any of you guys know what the problem might be? I haven't done this for a number of years and am not very experienced at all. Thank you.

Hi:
Do you have power to your receiver? Are your speakers connected?
There is no power switch on the RT600s.

Make sure you have the correct speakers selected, A or B. Also make sure you have not hit the mute button.

I say ditto on the A-B switch, and the digital-analog settings. It's usually one of those little things that you overlook after having your brain fried from figuring out what go's where.

I also do this, and so many times too. : ~ (

Do you hear anything when you use Headphones?

Ryan,
Good starting suggestions from the posters so far. It's always easiest to check the obvious stuff first!
I'm assuming that the picture is there from your DVD and that the lack of sound is the only problem. I just got an Onkyo and I had to fiddle with the number 2 setup function (Input Setup) and select the proper input -- you should have a optical or coax setup and then a multi-channel selection as well. Also, check your Surround setup if you have that on your receiver. Just make sure you have the volume down so when the sound does return, you won't have to replace your speakers or your eardrums.
Hope that helps and good luck, let us know if you get your speakers back.
