SDA-CRS+TL Mod 6510/6503 question.

Wanted to know since is says so on the Gimpod schematic that it is optional to replace the 6503 MW with a 6510 MW what the reason would be for doing that. Thanks.

Because both SDA2b and CRS+ came with either driver. Early 1986 CRS+ B/b came with 2 MW6510, later P/b 1987 CRS+ came with 1 MW6503, 1 MW6511. Even later 1989 CRS+ came with 1 MW6510 and 1 MW6511.

Check that @pitdogg2. Do you have a preference for the old production drivers over the newer replacement sound wise ?

Newest driver I've used was early 90's.
At this point it's hard to be too picky. -
Ain't that the truth. I have two of the newest production MW in one of the sets of CRS speakers here and I was thinking of taking them out and replacing them with the original 6503's or 6510's is why I was asking. Thanks for your help.
