Just another new guy with a question, I got a good deal on a polkaudio surroundbar black, I've got it wired up the way it's supposed to be, I am using a Onkyo HT-R640 reciever, the problem I having is I'm having is the volume has to be at least 40 before i can hear anything, Is that normal for a surroundbar ? I've missed with the frequencies, did'nt seem to change anything.

By the volume, do you mean the receiver is at -40db before you can hear anything? If so, I am not surprised.Life is too short to be indirect.

Did you run any room correction software if your receiver has it after the soundbar install?
