Polk RTI series update

Did Polk ever update the RTI series speakers, or have they always been the same since inception? By update I mean changing the circuitry, drivers, tweeters etc.

Didn't realize I was being silly.

To my knowledge Polk doesn't usually update product lines without a major refresh. The only exception to this to my knowledge is the original lsi series. They changed the enclosure and some crossover aspects without changing model numbers and the like

  • The only sill talk is coming from you dude. A lot of speaker makers update their products all the time as technology progresses. I was looking at some bookshelf speakers the other day and the specs from the latest edition are different from the last one, as per the specs below.

Low Frequency Driver Cast aluminium basket with a nominal 130mm (5") doped curvilinear paper cone. 25mm (1") voice coil wound on high powered
aluminium former, with copper shorting ring. Vented and double magnet shielded

Good catch, Drew. I can't blame the guy. Vanilla needs to make signatures smaller and use a lighter text than the actual message to help separate the two.
