That's right FREE. Karma.
Cosmetically, they are fine. Very presentable. Destination speakers. Audiophiles have monkeyed with their privates to these for decades...and for good reason.
All you got to do is come get them. I've got the power cords, spikes, manuals.
The Catch? One needs repair. It'll probably cost you a few hundred bucks to replace the bad panel. However, once you do that.....you've got reference quality sound.
Oh, and you got to come get them. North Charleston SC. PolkFest would be a great opportunity to take these away...but if someone gets here first, sooner better.

WOW! And don’t forget about all the monkeys who audiophiled with their privates as well. I’m on the wrong side of the country, but this is a very nice gesture.

LOL!
Also, I can point you in the right direction to get them repaired.....the guy I would go to is in Raleigh NC....but there are plenty of folks who repair/service Quads.I plan for the future. - F1Nut -
I have heard these speakers. Paired with the right gear? Stunning would be a good word to describe them. What they do, they do really well.

...can't go wrong with Quad ESLs old or new(er).

Apropos of nothing whatsoever....I'm heading to Maine next week, I could bring these to you quite possibly. Also, in craigslist in my hometown of Wells....there is a pair of AR9's for 450. The 8" drivers have been replaced with something unholy.....but that could easily be rectified...
