h/k pa-5800 amp???

would this be a good upgrade to run through my recievers pre amp outputs? i have a yamaha 2092 receiver thats supposed to be like 100 watts x 5. is it worth the money to buy this amp?

Will it be an upgrade in power? - Yessssss
Will you like the sound? - HK has a different sound altogether than Yamaha, so you'd want to listen to see if you like the HK sound.
My personal preference is HK, but that's just me... -
well i used oto have a h/k back a few years ago. if memory serves me correct it was a avr 20. i had no problems with it but moved to the yamaha because it had dobly digital so you can tell its been a number of years. also i have a few different speakers but mostly use a set of rt 16s for fronts and 2 cs 350 centers and ls/fx for surrounds. i also have a set of rt 20 s, rt 7s, and a set of rt/fx that arent being used at the moment. thanks andy
