Hi
I have my rt11 for 20 years now and i have been ofered to upgrade to the ls90.
are the ls90 better than the rt11? is it concidered an upgrade ?

    Oh, one more thing...
    I've heard a tweeter upgrade and crossover mod on the 11Ts gets tremendous results. And that could be true, but I'll never see the 11Ts the same again. I found them to be a bit shrill/shouty at higher volumes. So, I dropped the price to $100, and sold 'em to a different buyer. No remorse. Didn't look back.

    Again, LS-90s "FTW"! (imo).

    For my listening ears, that would be a "yes". The LS-90 "FTW"! Here's how I reached that point...
    So, I own a LOT of speakers, and began A/B comparisons to help thin the herd. I put the 11Ts up for sale $150, and a demanding audiophile put them to the test (using a very unique demo CD). I have to say, they did "not" perform well, and even "I" didn't like them.
    We exchanged them for a nearby pair of Polk LS-70s (which were sitting unused). When he repeated the same test, there was "clearly" a difference, and I gained a whole new appreciation for my LS-70s and LS series. Been on the hunt for others (and the LS 90) ever since.
