There were numerous different ones used over the years. What part number is stamped on the ones you are looking to replace?

Mine came with mw6500s. The problem is someone has gotten into these so I don't know what's original or not.Speakers: TL Monitor 10s, RTA 11TLs, Fortes, Thiel CS 1.2

Compare the dates on the drivers with each other and with the dates on the crossovers. If they are all the same or close, then you have your answer.George / NJ

What model Monitor 10's are they. What tweeter do they have? 10a's typically used the 6500 and Peerless
-
Short story. I picked up 3 monitor tens the other day. Two I'm pretty sure are early 10s because they have the foam gasket around the drivers and passive. The other is labeled 10a. All three have peerless tweeters. In one of the monitor 10s someone replaced the original drivers with Realistic drivers. A third driver had voice coil damage. Someone must of spun the magnet when it shifted.
I need atleat two MW6500 with gasket or 3 MW6500 without.Speakers: TL Monitor 10s, RTA 11TLs, Fortes, Thiel CS 1.2

Pm me if interested. I have 1 available without the thick cardboard gasket, so it is probably second generation 6500.
