First of, hope all is well POlKs! Been unplugged for awhile here. Miss this forum, been hectic on my end.

Anyways, gonna upgrade my HT and thinking of purchasing this used SC1522 on sale locally. The dude is selling it for $300 without a remote, 14days to return if it fails.

I downloaded the app so I am going to try it today! Please advise for any thoughts and concerns about swapping my SCs, worth it?

    I think that model was part of the time frame that suffers from the ue22 error code. Might want to do some research on that over on AVS. Does the back of the unit have a manufacture date? 2011-2012?

    I've had a 1523 since new. Nary an issue. The app is pretty good. I use a harmony remote with mine. Does everything I need.
