Canare 4S11

Hello,
There are not many reviews for this fine cable on the net.
During the CA shut down I did some speaker wire experiment.
I had AQ Rocket 33 in my front 3 (they are for sale now)
Just for giggles I tried some Amazon Basic 12awg. Not bad at all. More bass than the AQ-33.
I went back to the AQ type 4 for a few weeks then the AQ-33. The AQ-33 seamed to have a better top end than the Type 4
Recent bonus + savings I was going to get a new sub. Naa Edge of Tomorrow said no to that real quick. Then BJC Canare popped up. HMMMM! I gave it a try. Needless to say I am very pleased with this cable.
Here is the Audyssey graph for the Rocket 33
Here is the Audyssey graph for the Canare 4S11
As can see there is some minor difference in the cables. could just be the environment in the house at the time of running the calibration. I do like Canare better than either AQ.
At work we deal with a local electronics store for our IT cables. I had a pick from them the other day. I asked if he can get bulk Canare 4S11. Yup $1.08 a foot. I have 100' coming next week. I am going to make my own as I am not a big fan of the locking banana's on the BJC.
Cheers

When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

That is a great price. I get mine from have inc. they have sold it to me for about that same price over the years. They will also beat any price on the net. Two years ago I asked if they would match a price I seen on the he net. They asked for the link and right on the phone the guys says .86¢ a foot we'll beat it by .30¢, I said double my order 😉
I like it myself. -
Can't beat 4S11 for the price. I used a homemade pair for several years. If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

Here is the Canare I made.
Darn banana plugs cost more that the rest of the wire.

The more movies I watch, the more music I listen to the more I like this Canare cable. Nice smooth neutral, like it's made to bring out the best in the LSiM.
I'm going to make some for the bedroom HT. Type 4 will be completely out of the house.
I will still use my AQ HDMI and interconnects, love them things. When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.
